Agricultural & Land Services

Ranch road improvements, drainage management, orchard removals, pond development, brush removal, and high-production land operations supporting California agricultural properties and working ranches.

Our Services

  • Ranch road construction, road reshaping, drainage improvements, erosion control, culvert installation support, and long-term access route management for large ranches, grazing operations, agricultural properties, remote working lands, and commercial rural operations throughout California. Proper drainage design and road maintenance play a critical role in protecting access routes, improving year-round usability, reducing erosion issues, managing water flow, and preventing costly washouts and long-term road failures across demanding terrain.

Arrowhead • Gill Cattle supports ranch infrastructure projects involving bulldozers, excavators, motor graders, and heavy equipment operations designed to improve long-term land accessibility, operational efficiency, watershed management, and overall property functionality throughout remote and rugged working environments.

Certain ranch infrastructure, erosion control, drainage, and watershed improvement projects may qualify for NRCS EQIP and other land management funding opportunities. Visit our Resources page to learn more about available agricultural and conservation-related programs.

  • Pond development, pond cleanouts, drainage improvements, erosion management, water retention projects, and livestock water access support for ranches, farms, grazing operations, and agricultural properties throughout California. These operations help improve long-term land usability, runoff management, water accessibility, erosion prevention, and overall ranch infrastructure performance across diverse terrain and working environments.

Arrowhead • Gill Cattle supports ranch and agricultural landowners with heavy equipment operations involving stock ponds, water flow improvements, watershed stabilization, drainage corrections, sediment management, and long-term land improvement projects designed to support operational sustainability and property resilience.

Certain water infrastructure, erosion control, and land improvement projects may qualify for NRCS EQIP and other conservation-related funding opportunities supporting ranch infrastructure and land stewardship initiatives. Visit our Resources page for additional program information and funding resources.

  • High-production orchard and vineyard removal operations utilizing specialized heavy equipment and on-site vegetation processing methods to efficiently clear agricultural properties for redevelopment, replanting, SGMA-related land transitions, and evolving operational needs throughout California farming regions. Our operations support on-site chipping, spreading, and soil incorporation designed to reduce hauling requirements, improve field preparation efficiency, and support long-term soil health and land management objectives.

As California continues moving away from traditional agricultural open burning practices, growers throughout the Central Valley are increasingly transitioning toward cleaner, more efficient orchard and vineyard removal methods. Evolving CARB regulations, air quality standards, and agricultural burn restrictions continue driving demand for alternative vegetation management solutions that reduce emissions while improving operational efficiency and long-term land stewardship.

Arrowhead • Gill Cattle supports growers, ranchers, and agricultural landowners with large-scale orchard redevelopment operations utilizing high-horsepower equipment capable of handling demanding field conditions throughout California agricultural regions. Eligible projects may qualify for San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD) Ag Burn Alternatives funding opportunities supporting Whole Orchard Recycling (WOR), clean air initiatives, and alternative agricultural vegetation management practices across the Central Valley.

  • Large-scale brush removal, overgrowth reduction, access improvements, and fence line clearing services for ranches, agricultural operations, grazing properties, and large rural landowners throughout California. Our team supports projects designed to improve property accessibility, maintain usable working land, and support ongoing agricultural and ranching operations across diverse terrain.

Services may include grazing access improvements, road access support, overgrowth management, viewshed clearing, and general land management operations aimed at reducing fire hazards, improving operational efficiency, and maintaining long-term property functionality.

Why choose mulching for your Orchard & Vineyard removal?

As California continues phasing out traditional agricultural burning practices, many growers are looking for more efficient long-term solutions for orchard and vineyard removals. As of 2025, CARB regulations and evolving air quality requirements continue limiting agricultural burning throughout California, creating increased demand for alternative removal methods that reduce emissions and open burning practices.

Our operations utilize high-horsepower equipment originally designed for large-scale land clearing and vegetation processing applications, adapted specifically for California agricultural environments. Instead of piling and burning orchard materials, trees, vines, brush, and vegetation can be processed directly on-site into reusable organic material that may then be incorporated back into the soil depending on the project goals.

This process helps reduce hauling requirements, supports cleaner agricultural operations, improves efficiency on large properties, and aligns with California’s evolving agricultural burn reduction initiatives. In many cases, eligible projects may also qualify for incentive funding through the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District’s (SJVAPCD) Agricultural Burn Alternatives Grant Program supporting whole orchard recycling and alternative removal methods throughout the Central Valley.
